BIOGRAPHY
Trained at IDHEC where he joined in 1980, Philippe Le Guay collaborated in 1986 on the writing of August 15 , the first film by Nicole Garcia , before writing and directing his first feature film, Les Deux Fragonard which was released on the screens in 1989.

Occasional actor, Philippe Le Guay subsequently worked for television, where he participated in the writing of a few TV films such as Urgence d’aimer or Ascension Express in 1992 and directed Rhésus Roméo in 1993, again for television .

In 1995 his second feature film was released, L’Année Juliette , a comedy with Fabrice Luchini and Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu .

After Trois Huit in 2001, a drama inspired by a real event about moral harassment in companies, Philippe Le Guay returns to a lighter register with The Cost of Living (2003), a comedy
