    Lee Towndrow is a visual artist based in New York City. He creates visual effects,[1] and has been a photographer, credited with portraits of Lena Dunham,[2]Martin Amis,[3][4]Dan Brown,[5]Michael Chabon,[6] and Sheila Heti.[7] He was the cinematographer for the title sequence and reenactments in the film Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief[8] His work has appeared in Time Magazine,[2]The Paris Review,[9]Das Magazin.[7] He has worked as a visual effects artist on the feature film Carol (film),[10] commercial campaigns for BMW,[11] HONOR NYC,[12]Morgan Stanley,[13] TD Bank.[14]
